I like the graphics and that it runs pretty well. However, every few minutes or so, I find that the computer freezes for about 3 seconds. The graphics driver stops running and it's very frustrating. Otherwise it works fine. (It's been doing this ever since i got it)

Pros: Weight, Design, Battery Life, build quality, german made
Cons: speakers
It is a very good laptop for day to day use. The main thing that from its competitors it's build quality of laptop. It is made in germany. The speaker volume is little bit less than other laptops, but if you use this laptop for work than it will not be a problem.

Heavy-duty machine....
Date:March 3, 2011
Pros: Design, Durability, power
Cons: Battery Life, Weight
This is my second Fujitsu, and they are a great heavy-duty laptop. I got the 8 cell battery, so my battery life is fair. The new i5 proc is ideal for the use of my machine, fast and cool. Fan noise is noticible, but not overwhelming. The only con I have is the weight, they could have shaved some from this machine.

Never again
Date:January 26, 2011
Pros: Keyboard
Cons: Battery Life, Features, Design, Durability, Screen Size
Have the AH530 with i3 series for few months now. There are really no pro to speak of, the only feature I like about the notebook are the strong hinges and the spill resistant keyboard other than that it's all downhill. The battery life are terrible, fully charge with power saver setting (bletooth, lan, sound off and screen to the dimmest) the battery will last exactly 1 hour 55 minutes every time, activity surfing the web. The power adapter are huge compare to the same configuration from other company. Since it's Fujitsu, there are no way to get longer lasting battery (8cell or more) oem or generic this laptop are utterly useless as portable. Mind you I have SSD in this laptop which supposed to save a little more on the power consumption.
Now on to other cons, the screen are under-par compare to similar configuration from different company, viewing angle are terrible and I'm not sure if this have led back light but that are standard these day. On all black there are bleeding all over the screen especially all over the edge and middle. The casing are plastic compare to magnesium composite from other manufacture which mean it's going to crack if accidentally drop. The glossy finish scratch easily and leave finger print all over. The mouse pad are tiny and the button are noisy and loose cause it to stick to finger and vibrate when release. Card reader are not spring loaded which mean it'll stick out a lot, bye readyboost. The camera are average and very slow in responsive. The sound are below average in volume and quality.
There are some other little problem but just the battery life itself should stop you to proceed with this laptop. So regretful for buying this laptop, if I can return it I would do it in a heartbeat. I would never buy a fujitsu again simply because the aftermarket part are non existent.

Horible battery, disconects from the internet
Date:January 12, 2011
Cons: Battery Life
I have this computer for about 2 monts. Very bad battery. Doesn't last long and takes a long time to recharge. Speakers are very soft. Constantly disconects from the internet and tries to reconnect but often doesn't succed. The space bar is not working sometimes. The charger doesn't have a light so it doesn't show when its pluged in. Also the light on the laptop is not visible when the computer is charged since the light is positioned on the face instead of the edge. Also keep in mind that you it heats up fast if you can't find a way to keep it raised. The vents are on the bottom and it can't get air in.
But the bigest issue is the batery life witch is very bad and the connections problems. You must be near an outlet to use this laptop witch defeats its purpose.

Great laptop but.....
Date:November 28, 2010
Pros: Weight, Screen Size, great value
Cons: speakers
I just purchased this laptop on Black Friday and got a great deal ($499). My old HP died on my two weeks ago and was looking for a new machine that can handle multiple application including Illustrator and CorelDraw for my work.
Excellent computer for the price. Very powerful and fast. It handles multiple programs pretty well. Easy to setup and operate. The keyboard is a little funny with the numeric keys to the right but I got use to it pretty quick.
The only minor problems I would say is that the speakers are pretty bad. But that's resolved when at home by plugging in external speakers. Also, the chassie is plastic which more high end laptop are metal. But that's not a big deal for me especially considering the price I paid. Also, it's pretty light compared to my old laptop.
I haven't kicked around the battery yet but when on the road I only need the battery to work a couple of hours at best (so that's not a big deal for me).
Overall, an excellent laptop

I am in love
Date:November 10, 2010
Pros: Design, Security, Durability, Features, Keyboard, Screen Size
Cons: Battery Life, Weight
I love this laptop so much. I had a severly limited budget and was afraid I would end up getting something not good. I almost got an HP which is what I always bought in the past, but I am so glad the guys in the store showed this one to me. It runs sooo sooo soo fast. I pay for the fastest internet possible, I with this computer I really cant believe how fast it is, I can have 20 web pages open plus 4-5 other programs and it is still blazing fast. I tell everyone about this laptop and whenever someone says they need to buy one I tell them to get this. It is also very very quiet and I have it running for 10 hours a day, shutting it off sometimes of course but IT doesn't get hot or loud. I do wish the speakers were louder and that it wasn't so heavy but i am a weakling so eh. I do wish the battery lasted a but longer, I hear of others going 5-7 hours and im lucky if i get 2 hours. I am thinking though that my battery may be defective

Great and Reliable Laptop !
Date:October 5, 2010
Pros: Weight, Design, Security, Durability, Battery Life, Features, Keyboard, Screen Size, very bright screen, wifi connection
Cons: finger prints, small touch pad
Bought this laptop a few weeks ago but so far it is the best laptop I have EVER used. The fan is so smooth and calm that you can't even hear it running. The performance of this laptop is amazing, it has not crash once or even froze during an error. The Fujitsi AH530 comes with an 1.3 megapixel camera w/ webcam effects, which comes out very clear providing good video chat over Skype or any other messenger programs. Battery life is average for me which last about 3 hours on standard battery. There are many other features such as Bluetooth and HDMI which are a great addition. Overall, the Fujitsu AH530 is a great budget laptop which many features.

It Runs Cooler and Faster than the other guys
Date:September 11, 2010
Pros: Weight, Design, Security, Battery Life, Screen Size
Cons: Keyboard, Features
Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase. This computer runs cooler and faster than others I owned and tested in the past from multiple manufacturers. Another important feature is quiet. You hardly hear the cooling fan or any operations.
The volume is not loud enough, but it will do the job.

Impressed
Date:August 21, 2010
Pros: Weight, Design, Security, Durability, Features, Keyboard, Screen Size
Cons: speakers too low volume
I have used many laptops, been using for a month now and I am very impressed with this particular laptop. I am still enjoying its performance and features. The only concern I have is the speakers, they are not loud enough ( than again I happen to be a DJ as well so my expectations are higher than the average person) but besides this all else is perfect so far. I have been multitasking, watching videos and downloading at the same time, while i have many other programs open. I you dont care for loud speakers this is a great laptop, than again, you can use the Blutooth feature to send it to your speakers, I have not tried this yet. My daughter have been using it as well at it looks like it will become hers shortly because she likes it so much. I totatly recommend this Laptop, its a good price and is worth every penny.
