How is it? 'Excellent' is surely not enough!

I had been thinking to own a reliable cool laptop for many months and decided to opt for Fujitsu. I have never heard of this brand from any of my several dozens of friends. Taking it as a gamble and leaving all with fate, I invested in a Fujitsu Lifebook LH531 notebook. When it came to me, it spelled me bound with its excellent finishing and resolution. But still I was unsure about its performance. I have been using it for about a month, 10-12 hours a day on an average. It always feels like a dead solid cool stone- no trace of heating up. I am not exaggerating, but I don't know how it goes like this. I am so happy with it. If any one decides to buy it, I bet, it will not be any gamble. It will be a sure-win-excellent purchase.

The laptop works great with no problem and its very strong in handling multitasking, the laptop is proving to be the best choice for what I need it to do.

The build quality of Fujitsu notebooks are far superior to the two other more popular (HP & Dell) laptops. I love the fact that there are no bloatware. This is a great notebook and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new laptop.

Purchased this Fujitsu LH531 for an extra personal notebook and its perfect. If all you need is internet & email this battery is going to last over 4 hours. Of course the more you do the more battery life you'll use but i really enjoy this notebook. Been a Fujitsu buyer for 4 years and i always have my friends buy as well

IT FEELS GOOD, LIGHT AND RELIABLE. BUT SOMETIMES IT CAN'T GET INTO THE SYSTEM, I GUESS THIS MAYBE THE SYSTEM SOFTWARE BUT NOT THE MACHINE. SO I WOULD RECOMMEND TO MY FRIENDS.

Always Pleased with Fugi!

I replaced my 6 year old Lifebook P series with a new Lifebook LH531. Wish I could have opted for the more expensive model, but chose this instead. Online experience using Fugi site was great! Free shipping a plus, as well as free external drive. Fugi ships everything well protected and always remember to keep the box in case you need service. LH531 is less expensive due to plastic case and stepped-down parts, but still a good choice. This computer is the largest/heaviest you would want to travel with, and also the smallest screen that would be comfortable for extended use like doing stastical calculations. I don't do much media and havent used the camera, but overall, the unit is fully prepared to do just about anything you need! Only potential concern is the cover latch which is the same as the Lifebook P series....which I had multiple problems with over the years. It does not seem to withstand heavy usage.

not what i expected

speed expected for a 4G. bought computer great price. im glad i didnt pay full price! since i use primerly for skipe i am very dissapointed with the speaker sound and quality. it is terrible!. other than that is good. i like the most the keyboard is so smooth. but due to sound i think i will return it. the video in the other hand my family says is great. i will still have to try it outside to see the quality outdoors.

excellent choice

I was not sure if I've made a good choice after i ordered Lifebook LH531 for my daughter from a online retailer in the west coast at discount price. I have never heard of Fujitsu making portal computers. Taking my chance with the online retailer and fate from this name brand, I received the package within a few days with free shipping. When open up the box, this unit was well wrapped inside another box. After I take the unit out and unwrapped all the covers, I felt relieve knowing that i got a brand new unit and was really impressed with the quality of the unit. It was well made with excellent components. I used to own several HP and thought it made good components, but this unit is exceeding my expectation. The price I got was also really good also. I have been using it for several days now, i feel no trace of heating up, and it's performing extremely well. I am not exaggerating here. I glad I've made an excellent choice and am so happy with it. I will definitively buy another one from the same retailer for myself when there's another promotion.
