This is the all around best laptop I've owned(over 10 throughout the years). This is super light, the screen display is gorgeous, has USB 3.0 and the overall response by the hardware is lightning quick. With the low volatage CPU the unit never gets hot, resulting in an average of 7-8 hours of battery life on a single charge! Yes, I shine it up, have waxed it once, and washed my hands before using it, and at night it goes on the night stand so I can give it a Pat and tell it good night before I go to bed.
I love this notbook, I tavel with it around the world, and use it everyday at home and work. This is my third P series Lifebook over the past ten years, and they just keep getting better and better .
Very impressed with the size and speed of this laptop. We buy laptop for the Visually Impaired or Blind and fujitsu are the only laptops that can handle the intense needs of the Assistive Technology.

Great Product, Terrible OS
Date:June 25, 2011
Pros: Weight, Design, Security, Durability, Battery Life, Keyboard, Screen Size, battery life with the optional bay battery is good
Cons: Features, w-----s in any iteration is wanting, battery life is just "okay" sans the bay battery
The P771 is everything mechanically and electronically that one could want in a laptop. It is light weight, rugged, small and fast with the i7chipset and 8GB of memory. If you get the 32bit OS don't bother to order over 4GB of memory because W-----s can't address the extra 4GB.
W-----s should be called "Widows"; those who are left behind when their husbands (like me) try to figure out how to navigate through all the changes made wholly for the sake of change; as I have found no increased functionality in most of the changes. I even noted some LOST functions. I could go on and on but will spare you the diatribe.
If you are one of those poor souls (like me) linked inexorably to "Widows" "because of the boss", then get with Fujitsu! Their little tigers will do everything those Dell Dinner-tray "laptops" will do and do it faster, last longer and for less money. The P771 is my third Fujitsu but they are all still on the job. The old-timers (like me) are just a little slower!
