PH520
Date:January 29, 2011
Pros: Weight, Design, Battery Life
I bought this product for my wife for a Valentine's gift, but we could not wait to open it up and use it. The form factor, weight and configuration serve my wife's needs perfectly. Great computer for travel, home internet use and light business applications.
Great choice for mobile connectivity, web browsing, soc ial networking and add a cd/dvd player and it provides a pleasant movie viewing and music listening experience.
The start up is simple and takes a liitle bit of time but it manages your expectations thoughout. Nice package with the 2gb rom and 320 ram and my wife likes the red color.
I bought one of these for my nephew for college a few months ago, and I just bought one for my wife during the black friday sale. Great battery life, lightweight construction, and a touch of style make this an excellent laptop for mainstream users.
This computer really runs good for a small netbook. I immediately put in 8GB's and it really is running better than any laptop I've used. The size and battery life make it perfect for travel and as a second computer to check in before you get out of bed. The screen is beautiful, crisp, and clear. This is one sweet netbook.

Great Stepup from Netbook
Date:December 3, 2010
Pros: Weight, Design, Battery Life, Features, value
The PH520, as configured for the US market (certain overseas markets get a dual-core config), is a step-up from netbooks (as of end of 2010) yet a step-down from a real notebook. Weighing just 3 pounds, it features a zippy AMD single-core processor and, amazingly, 2GB of DDR3 (not DDR2) RAM running at 1333Mhz. This gives Windows 7 64-bit enough power to provide a good everyday computing experience. Obviously this is towards the mobile user who surfs the web, streams videos and music, and creates and edits standard Office documents (Office 2010 Starter is included). I'm quite happy with the styling, weight, build quality (made in China), battery life, esp. the beautiful screen. HDMI output is great for streaming HD video to my huge Panasonic plasma. I'm going to switch out the 320GB HDD for a 120GB Intel SSD, for more performance boost.
I purchased this lifebook around 6 months ago. I travel a lot and it has been great. Very reliable and strudy. I have had no problems and have been extremely happy with the purchase.
