Multitouch screen makes navigation a breeze
Date: June 21, 2010
Pros: Weight, Durability, Battery Life, Features, Keyboard
Windows 7 handwriting recognition and the Wacom digitizer make this a winner. My scrawl is readily recognized for filling out form fields and word processing. Using Microsoft OneNote is intuitive and almost fun. I made this purchase for grad school note taking and this should work out well.
Multitouch and active digitizer gives the screen a slight "shimmer", but nothing you can't get used to.
In the end, totally worth the investment.

Great Mini-Notebook at a Great Value
Date: March 29, 2010
Pros: Design, Battery Life, Durability, Weight, Keyboard
Cons: Screen Size
The T4410 is quickly becoming my favorite notebook of all time. It is very portable, has a full size keyboard, and feels sturdy. I use the table feature for real estate contracts and the tablet feature compares nicely to my old Toshiba Satellite Tablet. Love the convenience and great screen resolution. Functionality exceeds my expectations. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a mobile office that is easily portable.

Like it alot, but it isn't perfect.
Date: February 26, 2010
Pros: Durability, Weight
Cons: Design
My previous Fujitsu was a Stylistic Tablet. It was a workhorse. Kept it for 5 brutal years and it held up. So naturally I stayed with Fujitsu.
I like the screen brightness here, and the handwriting recognition is very good (improved alot in 5 years). I agree with another reviewer that I'd like to access other orientations in tablet mode.
Overall I really like this device. It's fast, a good compromise between screen size and weight.
My biggest complaint is the case design. The stylus is on the bottom of the unit when in tablet mode. It's very hard to access or to stow the stylus temporarily. The Stylistic stylus was on the top of the case (or slipped into the bump case) and was always easy to get to. This model is poorly designed.
Also, the plastic cover that protects the external monitor connections, once opened, doesn't stay tightly closed. It tends to catch the stylus lanyard and I'm afraid I'm going to accidentally rip it off. Again, poor design.

Great Tablet
Date: February 23, 2010
Cons: Features
Great tablet however it has it quirks. The screen does not flip at times, no quick ctl-alt-del button. Missing an sd card slot. I do like the extra battery quick to change it from dvd to extra battery.

Solid machine
Date: February 22, 2010
Pros: Durability, Features
Overall nice machine. I had a t4410 tablet prior to this purchase, and it lasted for over 3 years of abuse before have any major issues (couple of keys not working now). This machine is solidly built like the t4410, and has all the features I had on the t4410 plus the built in webcam, multitouch, etc. I have no regrets on my purchase, and will use this tablet every day teaching courses at a university. Be sure to download the driver software for the touchpad (does not come with this loaded) to adjust to sensitivity you are used to.

Love my tablet
Date: February 8, 2010
Pros: Design, Battery Life, Screen Size, Features, Security
Generally very satisfied with the T4410: screen size is good compromise between portability and readability. Touch screen is responsive. Has DVD R/W which is swapable with extended battery. Convenient SD card slot and IEEE1394 port AND HDMI -- hard to find in comparable laptops.
My complaints:
soft keyboard in tablet mode is way too small, very difficult to type. Should be easy to remedy?
Unable to play DVDs in tablet mode -- very inconvenient

Lifebook T4410
Date: January 25, 2010
Pros: Design, Battery Life, Durability, Weight, Features, Security
This is my first Fujitsu product, and I am very happy with it. I have used Toshiba, Dell, and HP laptops for the past fifteen years, and this is my favorite portable.
The battery life (I got the modular battery in addition to the standard one) is amazing. I had three rows of folks on a plane very jealous of my battery performance on Friday!
I really have no complaints about my tablet. It delivers great functionality.

First Tablet
Date: January 16, 2010
Pros: Design, Battery Life, Durability, Features
Being my first tablet, I looked extensively at competing brands, ultimately settling on the Lifebook because other professional users I know recommend it, and because of the great features and robust processing power. It's taken some getting used to, and I'm still not entirely proficient with the tablet features, but it vastly outperforms any laptop I've ever used. It's a little pricey, but it's a great machine.

I purchased this to replace a T4215 and I'm definitely happy with it. Multitouch is amazing. Screen quality is great. It's lighter than my T4215 was and so much faster!

Good Quality
Date: January 7, 2010
Pros: Screen Size, Durability, Keyboard, Features, Security, touchscreen
Cons: Design, Battery Life, Weight, thickness
I ordered this computer knowing it had all the features I wanted in a new notebook, onboard DVD writer, touch screen, camera, speakers and microphone, full size keyboard and a pretty reasonable processor and memory. I would have preferred it to be lighter and thinner, but it was the best in its class for size, weight and thickness and I could not wait any longer as my old computer was on its last legs. Everything worked perfectly out of the box and having a Windows 7 operating system, I expected the usual trouble, but so far it has only crash dumped once in the past two weeks. This is my third Fujitsu and for business, travelling and reliability, they have no equal. The design is not the most modern or outstanding, but it is robust and it will last for at least four years before I need another upgrade.

Great Computer
Date: January 7, 2010
Pros: Design, Battery Life, Durability, Features
This is a great laptop. The tablet feature is great. I haven't used it in a real-life kind of situation but the handwriting recognition feature seems to be great. I was using the screen a lot at first just because of the novelty of the thing but I'm adjusting my habits and using it more judiciously, it's great for a quick click or for scrolling up a page. I can't wait until more programs make use of this technology as it's very intuitive and fun.
The size is a nice change from the 15+ inch monster I had before. I can actually put this one on my lap, which is great in tablet mode (great for reading comic books). It gets a little warm after a while but it hasn't been an issue.
The battery life is amazing and if it weren't enough the modular bay feature takes care of it. The speakers aren't the best but there are no problems with headphones or external speakers. I had read that some touchscreens don't have great image quality but this is not the case, the screen is bright and clear. I love the security features, the fingerprint reader is just cool and the code to turn on the laptop is great, I don't have to worry about any thief getting anything more than a paper-weight out of my computer.
This is a great computer, maybe a little expensive (I customized mine a little to get a faster processor and hard drive) but that's what happens when you get brand new technology.
Very happy with my purchase and I have been showing off to everyone and certainly recommending it.

Pros: Design, Battery Life, Screen Size, Durability, Weight, Features, Security
Cons: mouse jumps around without warning
I really love everything about this tablet except for the touchpad. My mouse goes wild without any notice. It will also skip to a previous word while I'm typing and if I'm not paying attention I can type an entire sentence inside another word. Does anyone else have this problem or is this machine defective?

Only One Problem
Date: December 25, 2009
Pros: Design, Battery Life, Durability, Weight, Security
Cons: Features
I really do love my new computer. As a school teacher, I have been using the computer in my classroom attached to my data projector. Having the abiliuty to save my presentations with my notations has enabled me to send the files to absent students. What a blessing! One week after I started using the computer, one student had knee surgery and has missed over two weeks of school. I can keep her caught up by sending her the digital files.
My one complaint is in reference to the alignment of the screen in tablet mode. I can only have the screen in two positions - the primary landscape and portrait positions. I apparently write with a heavy hand because I frequently hit the buttons on the lower right of the screen. I would really like to have access to the secondary landscape mode, but have learned (post-purchase) that that mode is unaccessable to me. Suppose I will have to learn to write with a lighter touch.

Pricey when you upgrade features but overall solid machine and still cheaper than the t4210 I used to have. I recommend getting the extra bay battery for a full day's work. Highly recommended for any mobile user in the creative field.

Very Nice Tablet PC
Date: October 31, 2009
This is a very nice tablet compare to other tablet pc on the market. Love how fujitsu gives user freedom to write with pen as well as finger touch. Multi-touch i just awsome add-on feature to it. Over all fujitsu did a good job on balancing the price, performance and weight.
