great computer with lots of features
Date:August 25, 2011
Pros: Weight, Design, Security, Durability, Battery Life, Features, Keyboard
Cons: Screen Size
I was a bit intimidated by this computer at first. Being a person who that was dragged kicking and
screaming into the computer age, I was able to figure out the new computer, and find it easy to use. Love the keyboard, very user friendly. No complaints about anything so far.

Medical Office
Pricey But Reliable
Date:July 18, 2011
Cons: capacitive touchscreen
We are a medical office using electronic medical records, and we rely exclusively on the Fujitsu laptops and tablets. They are pricey, but we use them very hard for 8-10 hours a day every day, and they hold up well to the abuse. Battery life isn't usually more than 4-5 hours, but the modular bay batteries can increase that.
One down side: all of our doctors miss the old resistive touch screens (touch input based on pressure; can use any input device) that Fujitsu discontinued in favor of these capacitive touch screens (touch accepted from stylus or finger only).

T730 bought to replace T4215
Date:July 17, 2011
Pros: Weight, Design, Security, Durability, Battery Life, Features, Keyboard, Screen Size
I bought this tablet to replace a T4215 that was getting a little long in the tooth. I did not get the dual digitizer so I'm not sure how well this works with finger gestures but I'm fine using just the pen. (I'm used to it.) The build quality is just what I expected and I expect it to last as well as my 4-year old T4215 has. The T730 has everything I need and I am sure I will enjoy it for years to come.
I have noticed that my tablet attracts attention, and I can't give it enough praise.

This is my second Fujitsu tablet and my other one is still working well (I fried the recharging capability or wouldn't have even needed a new one). Great value, great product.

Cons: Weight
Functionalities are there to carry everywhere and most importantly, simplicity is there everywhere (packaging is simple; launching it and using it is simple; functions buttons and options are kept simple; keyborad and screen protections are kept simple) , particularly for a non-IT expert. protection No fluff that one will never need; just right

T730
Date:April 4, 2012
Pros: Battery Life, wacom digitizer
Cons: Weight
This is my 5th T Series Fujitsu (T4210,T5010, T2020, T580), and I obviously like the form factor. I was perfectly happy with the T2020 that I was using as my main business system, except for the eraser nub for mouse navigation. I much-prefer the trackpad. I acquired the T730 to replace the 2020. As with all of my other T Series, I immediately replaced the hard drive with a 128GB SSD. I got the 730 with the second battery in the bay, and the battery life has been over 8 hours. The reason I choose the convertable tablet form-factor is for note-taking in One-Note in my consulting projects, and the Wacom digitizer and battery-life of this 730 meet my needs. The only con is that I wish it was 1.5 lbs. lighter.

Fujitsu T730
Date:March 26, 2012
Pros: Weight, Design, Features, Keyboard, Screen Size, overall performance, value
Cons: Battery Life
Having used a HP tablet on a daily basis for 3 years, I bought two T730s. My overall comment is that if you're really in need of a tablet convertible, hesitate no more; buy a Fujitsu T730. You may have to be patient to get to the right level of support; but, eventually, you'll get it.
From the consumers' perspective, you can definitely save a few hundred bucks if you're handy enough to do your own upgrades: RAM, OS, harddrive, SS-Drive, etc. With the upcoming Windows 8, which gives a full-power PC & a tablet on one portable machine, you'll be at the fore-front of technology.
Last but not least, I wish the Fujitsu T730 were an America-made machine.

I7 T730
Date:March 18, 2012
Pros: Design, Battery Life, Features, Keyboard, tablet, drive bay
Cons: hard drive too small
The T730 is my third tablet pc, first from Fujitsu, the first to have such an advanced processor and first using Windows 7.
There have been some strange bits such as an odd opening of windows halfway off the screen; for instance when opening a movie file and the annoying full screen opening when you are simply trying to move partial windows around. Perhaps these are Windows 7 ills, as I have never used this operating system before, having switched primarily to Macs, seven years ago.
However, the overall performance has been very good given the upgraded processor and the self installed 8gb of ram. I am using the tablet as an "art machine" and have the Adobe Master suite loaded as well as Maya, Cinema4D etc.
I find that it can run these extremely needy programs well, renders quickly and generally equals Mac laptops of the same specs.
The nice thing is of course the addition of the tablet functionality and that's what I came for, yes I missed it and since mine has the dual display, I can now not look like a SPaz when I forget that I am not on my IPad and touch some thing on the screen. The screen is not coated so the feel is a bit slick under the pen iput, unlike the Toshiba I had last but all in all it works well.
I am impressed overall with the ports, (although I would have liked a FireWire) and also with Fujitsu including an extra battery and the docking station with my order.
The easy swapping of the optical drive for the battery is so lovely that I am ordering an extra drive and drive caddy so that I can swap in a more substantial hard drive for storage and an emulated Mac, so finally my dream of a real Mac tablet can become a reality!
I purchased my tablet from Fujitsu refurbished with absolutely no use issues factory sealed and would recommend this to anyone seeking a great tablet pc at a phenomenal price.

Cons: Keyboard
For the first week I kept on getting the blue screen of death. It was a brand new computer. I restored it to factory settings and I've had no problems with it. I love the multitouch and the battery life. I love that its a convertible tablet and it has a optical drive.

The convertible lives!
Date:March 3, 2012
Pros: Design, Security, Durability, Battery Life, Features, Keyboard, Screen Size
Cons: screen protector disables the touch feature
As other makers move into slate only offerings, I was beginning to worry. None of the slates could match the versatility of the tablet PC. After having two others from another maker, I am actually glad they abandoned the form factor, as it made me look again at Fujitsu - my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner! I am in the healthcare industry and the sales reps often carry Fujitsu tablets and a patient of mine mentioned that Virginia Tech has continued to require them for their engineering students, so I began to research them again and I'm happy I did. The quality is evident right away and two weeks later I'm still impressed and still trying to learn about all the features. It is a significant improvement over my previous machines and I'm sure that I'll be happy with it for years to come. My only complaint so far is that I wish they sold a screen protector that allowed you to still use the touch screen, but maybe that will come along soon. Thank you Fujitsu for sticking with the convertible form factor and continuing to just make it better and better!

Good computer, but overpriced
Date:February 28, 2012
Cons: Keyboard, to much plastic
I had to purchase this computer for my school program. Its a nice computer, dont get me wrong.. but I feel that it is over priced. The tablet part is nice, but going with the tablet over the regular screen, you loose screen clarity, I would say anywhere between 20%-40%. The computer is touch, but very "plasticy". Everything is plastic. After spending $1750, I would like some metal. The computer would not survive a fall. Maybe internally, but not externally. Also when typing, the key board seems to flex inward a decent amount. I got the max options on mine (icore 5, 4gb RAM,) Its decently fast, but for $1750 shop around for sure.

Not perfect but close
Date:February 15, 2012
Pros: Weight, Design, Durability, Battery Life, Screen Size, screen, great with linux
Cons: Keyboard, no more rocker buttons!
To be clear, I love this machine. I mostly run it on Linux (Ubuntu using Gnome 3) and it works almost flawlessly. On either OS, the touch screen is very responsive. Compared to my HP Slate 500, this excels in every way. The machine is fast, functional, and a perfect balance of compact yet functional. The keyboard does not feel cramped and I have large hands. The screen is beautiful. I didn't realized how spoiled I was by Fujitsu tablets until I tried using a Dell foe a while. What a difference!
The cons: I miss the rocker button between the mouse buttons that my two previous Fujitsu tablets had. It was one of the handiest add-ons ever. Also, the keys and buttons are noisier/clickier than I'd like. The keyboard on my 4020 was the envy of other users. Not so much with this one. Still, this is a good machine that I relish using. This is the BMW to the Hyundai-like Dell I was using before.

The best of both worlds
Date:November 4, 2011
Pros: Design, Features
Cons: Battery Life
I did a lot of research about tablet pc's before I bought my Fujitsu a couple months ago. The reviews on this one seemed the best for the price and what I intended to use it for. So far, it's treated me really well. If you're comparing this to an iPad, you'll think the it's a toy (although a very refined toy). The advantage of being able to have the capacity of a normal laptop (like using Microsoft Office and other software) puts this far above an iPad or Android tablet.
I'm a college student, so I wanted something that I could take notes on, but also do all my computing. I love being able to use Microsoft OneNote to write, rearrange, and resize notes by hand. If you don't get OneNote, I would say that you're not using this computer to its highest capacity.
At first, the multitouch screen seemed clumsy compared to an iPad. On the other hand, the flick shortcuts offsets the drawbacks. Using the digitizer to go forward and back on a browser, and being able to copy and paste with the flick of the pen (or your finger) simplifies editing documents and navigating pages. I get annoyed when I use an iPad now and the flicks do nothing!
If you need to type a lot in tablet mode, there is a touch-keyboard that pops up, but it's rather cumbersome for typing in anything more than a URL. My experience with the batter life has been less than I expected. I can get a bit less than three hours out of it on most days. So I might buy the modular bay battery.
Overall, I really couldn't ask for anything better right now. I assure you, once you get a tablet-PC, you'll never go back!
