a little disappointed, difficult keyboard
Date:April 10, 2013
Pros: Weight, Design, Durability
Cons: Keyboard, Battery Life
I've been a loyal and long time Fujitsu laptop owner, and have bought 11 Fujitsu laptops in the last 10 years. I buy it because of it's no non-sense design, business focus, and excellent reliability. I had high hopes for this new Ultrabook, while overall I am ok with the design, the keyboard destroys the user experience on this laptop. I use to buy Fujitsu laptops because of its high resolution screen, but that is gone also. An LG built screen simply does not stand out or make this laptop a particular good buy, many competitors have much resolution and better quality screen at about the same price point or less. The keyboard is a disaster, and the touchpad is problematic and slows my typing and overall productivity quite a bit. it is truly frustrating. This is probably the worst buy I've had. While the design and look is terrific, use is below average for Fujitsu. I don't have particularly large hands, and my palm keeps brushing up against the touchpad disrupting it's functions, the placement and size of the touchpad needs redesigning. The keyboard feels cheap, and simply can't compare to competition say nothing about MAC keyboard feel. What is it about a simple keyboard that can't be done right, boggles the mind. Overall disappointed
